you in your daily life. This program contains step by step techniques and activities that support you in
incorporating this ancient art into your life.
In this elective you will learn how it can be done easily and simply; dispelling myths and
misconceptions around mindfulness.
You will learn to use the supportive RAIN technique and look at how to apply various practices that form the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. The program also includes easy to apply breathing techniques, grounding, body awareness techniques and much more.
You will be able to give these techniques a go on your own and also be guided with audio recordings.
You will be guided in applying mindfulness in everyday moments and creating a regular mindfulness practice, taking some time out for you.
This program supports the quieting of incessant mind chatter and helps to reduce stress. It delves into a variety of mindfulness techniques so that you can find the one/s that fit best for you. It offers ways to support a number of issues and challenges faced in modern life.
And finally the programs offers a follow up coaching call to complete the journey which gives you the opportunity to connect with a teacher and share your experience.
This program is a 20 hr elective and includes written feedback and a coaching call.
It provides credits towards the Advanced Certificate in Guiding and Teaching Meditation.
