Deepika Jindal Creating Space for Calm, Clarity and Inner Strength

For Deepika Jindal, meditation has been a lifelong companion. She has practised for decades, returning to it again and again as a source of steadiness, clarity and inner strength. Over the years, meditation helped her navigate life with more grace, improved her relationships and guided her toward her purpose.

“I wanted everyone to have the positive experience I had,” Deepika shares. “Meditation made me emotionally and mentally stronger, and helped me flow through life with more ease. I knew I wanted to teach it so others could feel this too.”

This calling eventually led her to train with the Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness (ACMM), where she completed the Certificate in Guiding and Teaching Meditation and Mindfulness, supported by her mentor Jen Hill.

A Teacher Shaped by Experience and Heart

Deepika chose ACMM because of its comprehensive meditation teacher training program. What she discovered once she began her studies exceeded her expectations.

“I found out how incredibly supportive and amazing the teachers were. The mentoring was one of my favourite parts. My coach, Jen, is beautiful inside and out, and I would look forward to every call.”

Her studies helped her deepen her own awareness and become more conscious of her thought patterns. “This shift has helped me respond to people and situations more carefully and compassionately, including toward myself. It has strengthened both my personal and professional relationships.”

The retreat she attended was another highlight. “It really complemented the course and helped me deepen my teaching skills,” she says.

After graduating, Deepika established Circle of Calm, a meditation and mindfulness business that reflects her belief in accessible, heart centred wellbeing.

Through Circle of Calm, Deepika offers:

  • Weekly meditation groups

  • Day retreats

  • Corporate mindfulness sessions and programs

  • Meditation sessions at a local community college

  • Collaborations with wellness professionals on retreats

  • Both paid and pro bono offerings

Her approach is gentle, relatable and grounded in a deep desire to help others reconnect with their true selves.

“I hope to support those who want to reduce stress, improve their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing and return home to who they really are.”

Honouring Her Contribution A Well Deserved Community Recognition

Deepika’s commitment to meditation and community wellbeing was recently acknowledged on a wider scale. She was selected as a Finalist for the Blacktown City Woman of the Year Award.

“It was an honour to be recognised,” she says. “I do this work because I believe meditation can change lives. To be acknowledged for sharing something I love was incredibly meaningful.”

This recognition reflects the heart, presence and dedication she brings to her students and her community.

Deepika has learnt as much from teaching as she has from studying.

Her advice to new meditation teachers is grounded and compassionate.
“Be patient with yourself. This journey is a marathon, not a sprint. Do not rush your growth. Do the inner work that the course invites you into because it will help you show up better for your students. And sit in the meditations you are given. They will take you to magical places within you.”

Her business continues to grow naturally through word of mouth, returning participants and community connections. She runs Circle of Calm part time for now, with the intention to expand in the future.

Looking Ahead

While she intends to put her learning fully into practice before beginning more training, Deepika is open to further study with ACMM. She knows that growth, both personally and professionally, is an ongoing unfolding.

“I would not rule out further studies,” she says. “For now, I want to take everything I have learnt and offer it with presence and intention.”

Deepika is also working on an exciting initiative for 2026. While details are still under wraps, she invites her community to follow along on her social media channels for updates.

A Steady Source of Calm for Her Community

Deepika’s presence is warm, humble and grounded. She teaches meditation not as a distant philosophy, but as something deeply lived and embodied.

Her wish is simple. “I want people to know the strength, clarity and inner peace that meditation can bring,” she says. “Everyone deserves to come home to themselves.”
